It’s crazy I know but with this big East Coast to West Coast move I am feeling the need to start a lot of things new. One of which I am currently working on is getting my blog on WordPress. I took the plunge, but not knowing enough about what I was doing I broke just about everything trying to move my blog over. So I broke down and got a service to help me. Hopefully the switch will be finished by Saturday, but I did manage to throw a little loop in the time schedule with all my attempts to do this myself I messed with some things as I was trying the setup. The look will still be the same, but hopefully WordPress will get me a little more organized. Yeah for WordPress! Boo for having to learn how to use WordPress. I have some experience with it, but not enough to say I am a professional WordPress user. Wish me luck!

When you switch from Blogger to wordpress … all your tags from blogger turn into “categories” in wordpress but there is a plugin for that … or maybe a button in the dashboard area actually! So it’s a one click fix.
I love WP, get some SEO plugins for sure!! I like to use categories as it keeps my blog organized too!
Great choice! I love WordPress. I love that it has both categories and tags, so much easier to organize. There is so much more you can do with WordPress, especially in the comments section, which is great.
Suggestions?
~ Don’t make “admin” as your default login.
~ Definitely play around with plugins, see what works for you, WordPress makes it easy.
