Seriously?! How many times can one person get sick in three months?! Since November, Little Monkey and I have been sick four times! These aren’t 4-5 day colds, but 2-3 week chest colds that come with that nasty cough. I’ve been so lucky as to see about a week of being healthy before getting slammed with the next cold. I’m beginning to think no matter how long you nurse your child (in his case he was nursed for 18 months) if you don’t expose them to lots of germs they are still going to get sick. Eck! Well, at least Little Monkey’s first year was cold and virus free. Now he gets sick…I get sick. It has been awful this year because we’ve spent lots of time around family for the holidays which involves lots of kids. Is this what I am in for when Little Monkey starts school in the future?! I’m sooooo tired of being sick.
I did manage to find a pretty spectacular product to help ease the night time stuffy nose. I found it at Walgreens in the infant aisle since Little Monkey is going to be 3 years old in April and still too young for cold relievers. It is a Vicks Waterless Vaporizer Plug-In!
Oh and if anyone has any tips on how to stay sane with a clingy, snotty, germy toddler – I’ll take them!

Also, try putting vicks on the souls of their feet. WEIRD but totally works.

Do you have a Fresh N easy near you? They have the coolest bubble bath for babies/toddlers. It is their store brand. I cannot remember what it is called, but it helps clear them up. They have regular body/hair wash that works well and also lavendar bubble bath/
