Recent statistics show that more than 2.6 million American babies are currently living in poverty, and every 33 seconds a baby is born into poverty in the United States. Both numbers are expected to rise given the current economic environment.

These children often lack basic necessities many of us take for granted, including a warm blanket to comfort them. Research has shown that a simple blanket can have a powerful soothing effect on young children, especially those born into improvised situations where they often face high levels of stress and anxiety.

All cash donated at Toys“R”Us and Babies“R”Us stores nationwide, online at Toysrus.com/BundledinHope, and through their baby registry fundraising program, along with 100% of all winning bids from the auction of blankets designed by celebrity moms, will be directed to Save the Children as part of the Bundled in Hope campaign.
