Are you A Woman Inspired?

Thanks to 5 Minutes for Mom for sharing the information about A Woman Inspired Conference.

meetme2 Are you A Woman Inspired?

Do you have a desire for more?
* more of Him?
* more evidence of the fruit of the spirit?
* more joy in life?
* more Holy Spirit control so that your flesh will submit?
* more courage to walk in your God given dreams?

The virtual conference is from April 6-9. I love the idea of a virtual conference that I can attend from my home in pajamas. Don’t get me wrong, I’d love to go to a conference outside of my home, but since we live too far away from either of our families that won’t really work for us since one of us has to watch Little Monkey.

Did you know that Janice from 5 Minutes for Mom will be one of the speakers?!

The cost to join this virtual event is $24.95, but for a short time they are offering a reduced rate of $12.95 until April 1 at midnight CST. Register now so that you don’t miss out on this great deal!

5 Minutes for Mom is also giving away 10 tickets to the conference – the giveaway ends on April 3rd. (You can buy your ticket now for the reduced rate and if you win then A Woman Inspired will refund your money.)

Hop on Over to Bangerang Bake Shop

Spring is finally here and Bangerang Bake Shop is celebrating with a sale!

Bangerang+Banner Hop on Over to Bangerang Bake Shop

Bangerang Bake Shop’s Original-Cupcakes-In-A-Jar are absolutely delicious! I placed an order last month (thanks to Chicken Nuggets of Wisdom‘s link to Bangerang Bake Shop on her blog) and let me tell you I was not disappointed. I was a bit skeptical. I mean how can cupcakes in a jar stay fresh and moist?! These cupcakes in a jar are YUMMY! So yummy…that yes, I had a hard time sharing with the hubby and Little Monkey! So good that I ate most of both cupcakes (The Chocolate Envy Cupcake and Tessas Treasures Cupcake) in the SAME SITTING! Yes, I had the biggest stomach ache ever, but it was worth it! The cupcakes come in these adorable jars that you can reuse and if you decide to give these cupcakes away as a gift they are already cute enough that no extra gift wrapping is necessary. Bangerang Cupcakes are so delicious that they were featured on The Today’s Show Holiday gifts with Hoda and Kathie Lee!

Enjoy 15% OFF* Everything at Bangerang Bake Shop!
Use Code: BANGERANGBUNNY at check out for 15% off your order
Sale Ends April 1, 2009 (so start hopping over there!)
*Only Available at http://www.bangerangbakeshop.com/

You bet your bunny I already placed my order! Since Easter is right around the corner, I hopped on over to order two of their three Easter cupcakes Kiss on the Chick Cupcake and Hoppy Easter Cupcake. Since these are limited time cupcakes, I promise you it won’t take long until these delicious cupcakes are gone.

Entrecard, do I really need you anymore?

I was thinking of getting rid of my Entrecard recently. I wasn’t sure what I was going to do when Entrecard announced changes to their rules. I’ve been seeing over time more and more people are unhappy with all the new changes. The thing that left me the most uneasy was – having to pay credits to block paid ads on your blog. Entrecard heard their members and decided to do away with that idea. My biggest problem with Entrecard is that I got three different viruses. Not good. Since I was already on the border thinking about whether to do away with the it or not after all the changes – the viruses made the ultimate decision for me. I’m sure if I took the time I could find out which EC members were giving me the viruses in the first place to report them, but I’d rather just do away with the whole thing now that Entrecard is becoming micro-managed. Dictating to bloggers where they should have their widget at is just silly. Bloggers should be able to choose if they really want to advertise on someone else’s blog who has their EC widget at the bottom of the page, at the very top, or even in the middle.

I think I became a bit obsessed by dropping cards on other’s blogs, that I will admit…it was a rare few that I actually stopped and read when I dropped. It was time consuming and I don’t think I really need to be a part of it anymore since I am a part of some really great community of bloggers.

UBP 2009 Craziness

I still cannot believe the amount of bloggers that participated in the Ultimate Blog Party! That was a great party and now I am sad that it is over.

I wished that I was able to stop by everyone’s blog, but as luck would have it I had a hard enough time responding to everyone who commented on my post. I was not originally scheduled to be in Florida visiting family during this time. I’m not complaining. I love to visit, but it threw a big loop in my schedule. I’m still trying to get caught up on my out of control inbox!

If you are a blogger (or a non-blogger with a public email address) and left me a comment on UBP post and haven’t heard back from me, don’t worry I am still working on replying. I’ve discovered some really great blogs and look forward to meeting more bloggers.

Crazy week…

Monday night we arrived in Florida. The flight itself wasn’t too bad. Little Monkey was great. He colored for a little and then napped for the rest. It wasn’t until we landed that the drama started. Little Monkey was not happy about me waking him while I was trying to get our stuff together to get off the plane. He proceeded to scream from landing until we were able to stand up in the plane. Mind you I was in aisle 29…it was a while before we got to get up from my seat. I was so grateful that the lady next to me is a mother of twin 14 year old boys. She felt my pain and helped me whenever I needed. We had a two hour drive back to my parents’ house that Little Monkey slept through…BUT once we got to my parents’ house Little Monkey thought it was party time, so he partied from 1am -2:30am. That was a LONG night. Tuesday Little Monkey was still off his schedule and just for extra added fun around 9:30pm while Little Monkey was sleeping on me, he woke up and started throwing up Exorcist style all over me. Wednesday was not as bad…at least we went to a bed at a normal time, but it was a tiring time. Today is finally back to normal since the Little Monkey is napping while mommy gets some quiet time. Yeah!

I’m so sorry I haven’t got back to everyone as fast as I normally do, but it has been a crazy week and I’m slowly getting back to some normalization. Tomorrow I am going to the beach with my sis and our boys…I can use a little break. Whew!

Womb to Bloom

wtb125x125 Womb to Bloom

I was featured on Womb to Bloom’s Fantastic Five! They are still a fairly new site, but they’ve got great content on their site so far. Where was this website when I was pregnant with Little Monkey?! The Maternity Leave Insider is a great resource! As a group owner of a birth group on CafeMom, I’ve been asked a few times about maternity leave. Honestly, at this point I can’t even remember how that works since I reviewed it before Little Monkey was born, but we decided the best decision for us would be for me to stay at home with Little Monkey.

Leaving on a jet plane…and Dunkin’ Donuts

Hey everyone! Today’s post is going to be short since I’ve spontaneously booked a trip to Florida to visit with my familia for the next two weeks. The hubby is going to be crazy busy this week since he is training for his second job. The hours aren’t going to be this crazy all the time, but just for these two weeks since he is just starting. My flight leaves tonight and I still have some packing to do…so I need to get off this laptop and finish up packing. Wish me luck. This is Little Monkey’s second plane ride round trip. The first round trip he got a really nasty stomach bug. And the first trip we had daddy with us, so it was a little bit easier when I got tired or frustrated to hand Little Monkey back over to daddy. Now it’s just me….I really hope there is no one in the seat next to me that has to watch our mess unfold.

I thought you all might be interested in my post at Busy Mom.
