Okay, so this weekend I will be doing some serious organizing. Very often I feel like Monica from “Friends” everything looks organized until you get to that closet that has all sorts of stuff thrown in it. I’m guilty, but instead of a closet…it’s my upstairs guest bedroom. Not good. It’s like a hurricane of stuff I can’t convince myself to go through and get rid of…and I’m not a pack rat. I’ll be the first to go through and get rid of stuff, but for a while I thought I would put a lot of the stuff I have in there on eBay. Who am I kidding?! I’ve been holding onto that stuff for almost 2-3 years now. It would take me a year to get all the stuff listed between my toddler and my hubby interrupting me all the time. My problem is I clean out one room, but instead of cleaning I feel like I am moving the mess from one room to another…I need to get the mess out of my house. I’m going to donate most of that stuff to Good Will. I love finding a good deal at Good Will, why not do that for someone else?! I have put some stuff aside for the local Women’s shelter, too. Yeah for cleaning! Blegh! Too bad I quit drinking caffeinated drinks – this would definitely be a weekend for it.

This weekend, I hope my hubs will help me finish painting and decorating our toddler’s room. Ick!
I think within seconds of me cleaning, a whirlwind goes through and things go back to being a mess! I need to pack up things for Goodwill too, I try to send stuff every few months so that we don’t have too much clutter!

Oh wow! I can so relate seriously! So basically I did the same clean up last week because my house looked like a tornado hit it {my 2 year old is the tornado that hit} and well uh it’s this weekend and we still have a HUGE mess…since it’s like 40 degrees out today here in NH I think cleaning is in order..open the windows get some air and clean the house! BUT that’s if my lil tornado is ok with this, he has double ear infection!

Popping over from SITS to say hi! Well, there the me that wants to do absolutely nothing this weekend…sigh….and then the me that knows she needs to get off this computer and go clean something. Wonder who will win? I guess the cleaning will.
Wouldn’t it be nice to say something like that and actually have it happen. Am I the only mother/wife that feels like they are the only who might be capable of keeping the kitchen clean and dishes put away?
Well, this weekend is designated to fixing up my blog and website and getting some grading done.
