We made it safely to Florida by 5pm on Saturday. Not too shabby for stopping overnight at a hotel. We may have lingered around a little Saturday morning to enjoy our breakfast and room a little longer than necessary, but it was nice to not feel rushed. We made it here just in time to see my grandma (my mom’s mom) before she flew back to NY on Sunday morning. Since it was grandma’s last night in town everyone was over my parents’ house Saturday night. There were 18 people in this house – it was overwhelming for me, the hubby, and Little Monkey. We don’t hang out with that many people at one time in Maryland…actually we don’t hang out with anyone really. Not because we don’t want to, but everyone seems to be doing their own things and we just hang out as a family. Back to what I was saying we were overwhelmed with the amount of people and cross conversations going on, so we’re still getting back to our normal schedule. Little Monkey is confused on his napping schedule which usually happens whenever we go somewhere. I’m sure the fact that his twin 6 year old cousins were here didn’t help to get Little Monkey down to sleep since he LOVES those mischievous boys.
