I am a former makeup junkie. Unfortunately for me, makeup falls under the want not need category to my hubby. That stinks for me, but I can’t really argue that since my hubby works hard for me to be able to stay at home with Little Monkey.
Thank goodness for Christmas money I was able to replenish some of the makeup that I had to throw away due to being expired. Didn’t know makeup expires? It sure does. Go to my old post R.I.P. to my fab makeup finds to get the list of expiration dates. Back to Christmas money, thanks to the extra cash in my pocket I have been able to come across fabulous deals on makeup and cosmetics! Yeah!
Dillard’s is having a sale on Too Faced gift sets. You can get a Kipling handbag or pouch along with Too Faced products! The gift sets are ridiculously priced at least 50% off, but probably closer to 70% off, but I don’t feel like doing the math right now. Hurry up and get yours because I just bought two of the products and one of those sold out while I was writing this post. (Update: I checked the website at 6:23pm and now 2 of the 4 bags are sold out. I checked back on 1/2/09 at 5am and now there are only 2 sets for sale. Now they are 50% off of their original retail prices. The “Charming & Glamour set that I bought yesterday jumped from $19.25 to $39.50, but that is still half of the original price which was $79.00. Sephora has products up to 75% off. Tarte has this awesome Vanity Limited Edition Palette ($494 value) for $52. The picture makes the box look small, but I swear it is bigger. My hubby and I were both surprised to see it’s actual size when it got here.

expired make-up sucks, new make-up is AWESOME! I’m not a heavy make-up chick, but my mom is, so when I’m feeling girly I rummage through her stash (she only buys the best, she doesn’t believe in cheap make-up) haha!
She always complains that she pays for the make-up and I use it all, but than I remind her that the sooner I finish it, the sooner she can get more…
